Hixon Law PLLC, dba “The Private Label Lawyer” (“we,” “us” or “our”) is committed to making our users aware of our online practices regarding the collection and privacy of their information.
Any user that accesses all or any part of the Hixon Law PLLC and/or Private Label Lawyer website(s) located at: suzihixon.com/ and/or www.theprivatelabellawyer.com agrees that use of the Sites constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions for the Sites.
Each time a user accesses the Sites, the Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions should be reviewed because we reserve the right to change them from time to time without notice. Your continued use of the Sites after such changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

Personally-Identifiable Information of Minors
THE SITES DO NOT KNOWINGLY SOLICIT OR COLLECT PERSONALLY-IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION FROM MINORS.
Upon learning that a minor has submitted information to the Sites, Hixon Law PLLC will take all reasonable measures to delete information from its databases and to not use such information for any purpose except where necessary to protect the safety of the minor or others as required by law.
Site Use
As a result of your use of the Sites, Hixon Law will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material.
Information Collected from the Sites
Non Personally-Identifiable Information
- We DO NOT collect non personally-identifiable information in connection with the Sites, such as information provided to us by your browser, the website you came from (known as the “referring URL”), the type of browser you use, or the time and date of Site access.
Personally-Identifiable Information
- We DO NOT collect any personally-identifiable information when you use the Sites. For example, we do not collect your name, phone number or mailing address. We only collect your email address when you voluntarily provide it to us via email, as you may be inquiring about our law firm and/or our services.
- Visitors to our Sites can access the Sites’ home page and browse the Sites WITHOUT disclosing any personally-identifiable information.
How the Information We Collect from You is Used
We will only use the personally-identifiable information you provide to us for the purposes stated at the time of collection, or as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy.
Specifically, we may use the personally-identifiable information you provide to us to:
- Provide communications, such as e-mails, which Hixon Law thinks you may find interesting or useful about its company, services, or information that you specifically request;
- Enforce our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy;
- Manage our business; and/or
- Perform functions in connection with providing our services.
Sharing of Information
WE DO NOT SHARE YOUR PERSONALLY-IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES, OTHER THAN AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.

If a Site user makes this election, all of the Site user’s personally-identifiable information will be removed from the databases permanently.

California Residents – Your Privacy Rights
HIXON LAW DOES NOT DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONALLY-IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES.
Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California can obtain certain information about the types of personally-identifiable information that companies with whom they have formed an established business relationship have shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. In particular, the law provides that companies must inform consumers about the categories of personally-identifiable information that have been shared with third parties, the names and addresses of those third parties, and examples of the types of services or products marketed by those third parties.

California Do Not Track Disclosures
We do not track Site users to provide targeted advertising, and therefore, we do not respond to Do Not Track (or DNT) signals. Hixon Law reserves the right to add such capability to its Sites at any time in the future and will notify Site visitors of this change in capability through an update to this Privacy Policy.
Distribution/Onward Transfer to Third Parties of Personally-Identifiable Information
External distribution does not include certain limited distributions such as sharing personally-identifiable information with a third party working on behalf of Hixon Law, the transfer of personally-identifiable information in connection with the sale of Hixon Law’s assets or the merger or acquisition of Hixon Law or the disclosure of personally-identifiable information in connection with legal proceedings, investigations of crimes, or other governmental investigations.
TRANSFERRING PERSONALLY-IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION IN CONNECTION WITH THESE LIMITED DISTRIBUTIONS IS CONSIDERED AN ONWARD TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES AND IS PERMITTED UNDER THIS PRIVACY POLICY.
Additional Disclosures
You acknowledge and agree that Hixon Law may preserve or disclose any personally-identifiable information if it reasonably believes disclosure is required by law or a good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal process, including but not limited to civil and criminal subpoenas, court orders or other compulsory disclosures; (b) enforce this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions of the Sites (c) respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third-parties or (d) protect the rights, property or personal safety of Hixon Law, its members, employees, licensees or affiliates, other Site users and the public.
Other than as set forth in this Privacy Policy, we do not share, rent or sell any personally-identifiable information you provide to us with any third parties.
How Long We Keep Your Personally-Identifiable Information
We retain the personally-identifiable information you provide to us as long as is reasonably necessary in connection with our business operations and your use of the Sites, or for us to provide other services in connection with the Site, or as you may otherwise request.

Access, Review and Correction Regarding Information
Users can email us at Suzi {at} hixonlaw {dot} com to access, review, and correct the personally-identifiable information that Site users have provided to Hixon Law.
Arbitration
Any dispute, claim, or controversy that you and Hixon Law are unable to resolve, to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, will be submitted to and finally resolved by binding arbitration. Either party may file a written demand for arbitration with the American Arbitration Association and will send a copy of the demand for arbitration to the other party. The arbitration will be conducted pursuant to the terms of the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The venue for the arbitration will be in Laurel County in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The arbitration will be conducted before three (3) arbitrators selected by the American Arbitration Association. The decision of the arbitrators will be final, binding and conclusive upon the parties. Each party will have the right to have the decision enforced by the federal or state courts sitting in Laurel County in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, to which exclusive jurisdiction the parties agree to submit. If any of the provisions of this Agreement are held to be unenforceable or invalid by any tribunal of competent jurisdiction, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected, provided that the essential understanding of the parties hereto is not lost thereby.
General
This Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the user and Hixon Law, dba “The Private Label Lawyer”, regarding the use of the Sites and the Site Content. If any provision of this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Hixon Law’s failure to enforce any right or provision shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. Headings are for convenience only and should not be given any interpretative effect.
